What troubles you?

If you were to ask me this same question a year ago, I would say money (you know mortgage, bills, food etc). Isn’t it unfortunate how much money have (so much) to do with everything, how much life depend on it? It may not be the case with you, but I am being honest here….. but this was also from a year ago.

Can you really be happy and at peace in spite of not having everything?

What makes you happy anyway?

Can happiness depend solely on the material, physical and intellectual accomplishment of a person?

Can you have everything with having nothing?

Did I say everything with having nothing?

Yes, I did. You know…. everything that riches cannot buy….

…. peace in the midst of the storm

…. joy in my heart

…. happiness within

…. calm amidst the chaos

…. assurance in times of uncertainties

…. overwhelming faith

…. trusting heart

“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2

So what troubles you?

Did you know that we can find All in Him?

It is in surrendering all my troubles in Him and trusting fully in His plans that I found riches that no money can buy.

I found all in Him!

“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” 1 Peter 5:7

Will you trust Him?

“There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; One Lord, one faith, one baptism; One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” Ephesians 4: 4-6

Have you ever tried telling somebody that God loves him? How do you do it anyway? I mean, should there be a special occasion or special way of telling somebody that God loves them?

Is saying, God loves you, the only way we can tell the world of His love?

What about our God? How many times has He sent His message of love to us? How many times did he sent those who have heard to bring His message of love and salvation for us?

“The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing. Zephaniah 3:17

…. of skepticism and faith

…. of our own struggles and hope

…. of our own endangerment and salvation

…. of our own weaknesses and strength

…. of a life loss but found

…. of joy, trust and peace

…. of His grace

a story worth telling

a life filled with His love.

What is your definition of faith anyway?

{faith – belief and trust in and loyalty to God}

This overwhelming faith….

that gives us peace in spite of the unknown and uncertainties of life.

“Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” Hebrews 11:1

Have you ever had this feeling of overwhelming faith?

Overwhelming faith….

that let us be glad and thankful for the day. A day where we appreciate being alive, being love by our faithful God, a day to be thankful for our family, a day of thanks for even the littlest blessing. Just to be thankful for this day.

“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge.” 2 Peter 1:5

An overwhelming faith

that looks forward to tomorrow.

An overwhelming faith…..

that holds on to His promises.

An overwhelming faith

that trust deeply

believe wholeheartedly

wait patiently

and love earnestly.

“Excel in everything in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us see that you also excel in this grace of giving.” 2 Corinthians 8:7

His love sustains me.

His promises keep me.

His faithfulness overwhelms me.

“Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commands.” Deuteronomy 7:9

Thankful for this overwhelming faith.

Will you trust Him and let faith overwhelms you?
