Come to Me…

“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.” Isaiah 26:3

What troubles you?

Have you ever come to a point that you got tired of worrying too much that you finally accepted defeat? A humbling defeat…..

Come to me.

Lay your troubles and worries on me. I love you and I want to help you.

You see, I have been waiting and waiting for you. I have been watching over you. I hurt when you hurt. Your burdens are my burdens. I want to wipe away the tears in your eyes.

During your times of weakness, I gave you just enough strength to go on, hoping you will notice me and long for my company. In your times of darkness, I showed you enough beauty to see my light. In your times of loneliness, I sent you plenty of hugs and kisses and love; I was with you. During your times of emptiness,  I made you full with my words.

Come to Me.

I have walked beside you, run with you, cried with you. Did you see me? Felt my presence?

I have picked you up and carried you, even in those times that you thought I abandoned you.

You see, I love you and I want to comfort you and give you peace.

Will you trust me?

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.” (Isaiah 43:1b-3a)
