“I wish life would pick up a little bit, financial wise.” Hubby said. A wish that made me teary and speechless….but assured.
I know a lot of people can relate and I knew a lot of people who are going through the same financial hardship….some worse than us.
Ahh, such is life. Have you ever wondered why it always seems to fall down on….yes – money? I know, money is about needed for about everything and without it…
those potholes and unwanted cracks
they show up
Isn’t life-like that?
Full of potholes of different shapes, sizes and character. Some are too deep, some are narrow, some are wide and some that doesn’t seem to have an end. Potholes that we work so hard to fix.
These potholes, it produces perseverance, strength, trust, faith, love…humility.
“less of me, more of God.” John 3:30
And those unwanted cracks, just like the potholes….some wide, some are narrow, some that doesn’t seem to end and some that you can barely tell – but it’s there.
Out of these cracks, you see the rays of light. And this light, it brings hope, and joy and beauty and a promise of a new day.
“You are my lamp, O LORD; the LORD turns my darkness into light. 2 Samuel 22:29
These potholes and unwanted cracks….
They added beauty, character and light.
“The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you,
for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.” Isaiah 60:19
