“My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass.” Deuteronomy 32:2
As I was walking to the front door from work, there it was, those weeds. Yes those weeds that keep popping up in the most unlikely places, where we don’t want it to be.
What caught my eyes,
those blooms…..such a beauty!
“People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades. But the word of the Lord remains forever.” 1 Peter 1:24-25
We are but a grass, we can be as green and healthy looking and lushful as we want to be. One that looks inviting and serene and nourishing.

Yes, we can also have those weeds. Weeds that pops up at the most uncertain times. Weeds that tests our faith, endurance, patience, trust and love.
Those weeds….
of doubt
of fear
of pain
of sorrow
of heartache
of anger
of denials
Weeds of difficulties that clouds our judgment and questions our spirituality and beliefs.
But these weeds,
they bloom.
Out of these weeds comes out….
A wondrous and beautiful bloom.
A blooming of a…
Stronger faith.
Deeper trust.
Steadfast love.
Unquestionable belief.
Joy.
Hope.
Healing.
Forgiveness.
Acceptance.
Endurance.
{weeds of life that brings out a spirit that blooms}
But…
we are just a grass,
we can wither
and falter.
and die
and fade away….
but His words,
it remains forever.
“He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.” Psalms 72:6
